NYAF LARP - Powered by the Nexus Convention LARP system

Character Pre-Registration for the New York Anima Festival Anime LARP is open now through September 15, 2009. Please read the following information follow the instructions for Character Pre-Registration

LARP Stands for Live Action Role Play. The NYAF Anime LARP is a theatrical LARP running throughout the length of the convention, where players are allowed to participate as much or as little time as they want. An Anime Convention LARP is equitable to the most ridiculous and at times over-the-top mass crossover mash-up you could imagine. If you would like a further explanation as to what LARP and Role Playing Games are, then please consult your preferred online encyclopedia. Costumes are not mandatory. You can be in the costume of your character, you can be in a completely unrelated costume, or (as most people in the event are) you can just be dressed in your normal attire.

Characters from anime, manga, and video games generally known among the anime community may be selected for the NYAF Anime LARP by Pre-Registering for the game online. Participants registering at the convention will be limited to a selection of series/characters crafted by the Game Master. No special character requests will be made at the convention.

Note there is also a Secret Character available for the LARP. You will not know who this character is in advance.
